The Task Force on Design and Analysis is happy to announce the award of its first Traineeship in Oral Health Research Statistics to Ms. Shanshan Li  of Harvard University.

Ms. Li has a Bachelor of Medicine degree, the equivalent of an MD, from the School of Medicine & Public Health, Fudan University in Shanghai, China and a Master of Science in Public Health from the Faculty of Dentistry, McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She is now a student at Harvard University in the D.Sc. program in Oral Eipdemiology, joint between the Schools of Public Health and Dental Medicine.  

Her project aims to develop a predictive clinical algorithm to help dental care providers determine the likelihood that their patients have undiagnosed diabetes.
